Ashes of Atrocity - Metal
Ashes Of Atrocity is a 6 piece out of the Albany area and plays a mix of metal hardcore and death metal. we just finished recording our first cd and are now in the process of making a name for ourselves.
Aspect Ratio - Garage Rock
Aspect Ratio (aka Jim Gross and Izzy Singer) is a garage band, and that's an honorable title to hold. Why? Because garage bands have always put the shimsy, the laughter and the fun into rock and roll. Break out of the cubicle, run away from the serious, put a little Aspect Ratio into your life. At the very least, you're going to laugh a little and that's not a bad thing at all.

Bad Karma - Rock

Steve Grogan - Alternative / Indie / Acoustic
Steve is a 29 year old songwriter-guitarist-singer from Troy NY. Before emerging as a solo artist, Steve was in the short-lived trio Judo for Japan, which disbanded in mid-2005. His acoustic output is very different from the brutal assault of Judo for Japan's plugged-in, volume-at-eleven rock songs, blending confessional, poetic lyrics (straight from the school of Leonard Cohen) with the laidback vibe of early 90s "sadcore" rockers Red House Painters and the and the vocal delivery of Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum.

Guiltless Cult - Pop

The background comes from singer-songwriter Terry McClain growing in a diverse progressive rock & blues music scene out of Nashville & Memphis TN then percolating in Upstate NY's penchant for punk & folk. The outcome is a brew of satirical songs inspired by the ever-growing indulgent behavior of America into a "do what you want and not feel bad about it" attitude which is where the namesake derives. Included in the debut cd "Help Me Out" are the efforts of many of Albany's most prolific musicians including John Brodeur, Eric Halder and Frank Moscowitz.

Hector on Stilts - Acoustic

At age 15, Phoebe Henry has already established herself as a prolific songwriter and seasoned performer. She has played a live show nearly every week for the past two years and is no stranger to large crowds. Phoebe often sings the national anthem at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, NY and performed recently at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida as an opening act to the Paul McCartney concert. She has played other venues such as the Palace Theater in Albany, NY and the Bitter End in NYC. Phoebe's musical style has been compared to that of Jewel and Sarah McLachlan. Her lyrical depth is drawn from her desire to be honest in her writing. Songs about her personal experiences and her profound spiritual beliefs all breathe words authentic to her heart.

Idiot Splendour - Rock
Idiot Splendour was created in the fall of 2002, originally performing as a semi-acoustic duo (meaning they sometimes played loudly!) in coffee houses. A drummer joined the lineup, and after the three performed a few shows and decided that they weren't quite loud enough yet, so a vocalist/guitarist was recruited. All four members have various influences, backgrounds and playing styles that make Idiot Splendour a musically diverse and challenging experience.

Jeremy James is an independent singer/songwriter living in Albany, NY. He writes folk-rock tunes infused with blues, country, and alternative rock, and is heavily influenced by Indigo Girls, Ani Difranco, Lucinda Williams, and Johnny Cash. His lyrics are intimate and exhibit a unique perspective on politics, spirituality, and sexuality.

The North 40 Band began in 1996 as an acoustic project by Chuck Lobdell, Billy Webber, and Tom French. The "kind of slid" into being an electric act following a party/jam session. After some "bumps and bruises" the band has settled into it's current line-up. As a group, we have some goals: To enjoy what we do, To have an audience enjoy it too, To keep expanding ourselves as musicians and Nashville would be good. Happily, we have won the Northeast CMA Sunrise 2001, and....Instrumental Group of the Year Award for 2001 & 2002.
